Hey asshole! Clean up after your dog!

Just because there is a city ROW (for utilities or the road) in your front yard does not mean the dog walking public or any public has the right to use it.

Now if you are talking about a ROW or easement established for the public to gain access to a landlocked park or something, then yes the public has a right to use that ROW.

Saying “And shit!” in a dog poop thread is fucking hilarious, man!

Where’ve you been hiding?

ps. and shit.

In fact, the dog shit is on private property, in a common area of an apartment complex which requires, as a condition of leasing an apartment, pet owners to pick up their pet’s shit. An apartment complex which provides not only doggie doo-doo bags to use to pick up after pets, but doggie doo-doo bag trash receptacles to deposit those bags in.

So go rub dog shit on your shoes, or barf on your shoes, or whatever, and then enjoy the ambience.

I’m happy to note that after I “spoke” with the “gentleman” who owns the dog, the problem has ceased.

The brown rock in the bag: I curbing your dog!

Well, they’re being thoughtful. Since responsible pet owners these days clean up, it’s been getting difficult for kids who wish to set on fire a paper bag full of dog shit on someone’s doorstep to find the supplies. Think of it as a contribution to either common pranks or criminal juvenile delinquency, whichever trips your trigger.

For christ’s sake. Yes, my dog pisses on private property. From the sidewalk. Get fucked if you think I care. I clean his poop up, am I supposed to carry a squirt bottle to wash off his urine as well? Please.

What fucking sidewalks? I don’t have no fuckng sidewalks!

Yes I can see you are enveloped in an aura of ignorance. I would think an anyone of average intelligece would choose the side of the street to walk the dog (to poop piss, scratch and sniff) that has acres of vacant land alongside it, rather than using the side of the street that is occupied by homes and maintained yards. Are we clear now??

It’s clear that you are talking shite. Did you make that post with a random word-generator?

Even if your think your shite is clear it still generates random stink.

This has been addressed before. It’s NOT OKAY to leave dog waste outside even on your own property or in places where people won’t step in it, like “off in the brush.”

It’s not “natural” (at least in the type and quantity it occurs from pets), and actual recognized authorities (as opposed to random people on the Internet) have said you should NOT do it. Pick that shit up!

And shit.

We have two dogs, that we walk about our apartment complex, and we always pick up their poop. So do most of the dog owners we’ve met here. (There’re about a dozen bag dispensers, so it’s relatively easy.)

But there’s still dog crap to be found mere feet from many of them. Some people can’t walk the few steps to get a free bag and clean up. Sure, it’s not the most pleasant feeling, but it’s called responsibility.

A specific point: one of our downstairs neighbors has a cute Lab puppy, Josephine. Yesterday, as I walked downstairs, there were two huge puddles of pee on their landing. Then, on the front lawn, was one of the neighbors with Josie as she was pooping. (Fine, my dogs do it there sometimes too.) But then she walks away without doing anything about cleaning it up, fully aware that I saw. She didn’t return later; the poop’s still there.

I reported them to the rental office, as it’s a finable offense. They say they know, and that a notice has been issued. Now technically, they can be evicted for lease violation. But I’m not sure what’s going to happen.

My feeling is to write a sign and make a little wire frame for it, then post it over Josie poop:

P.S. – “The pee on the sidewalk is not appriciated either, as it’s the path that many people have to take to get to the pool.”

In Washington state, dogs and cats are privileged to roam, and are not considered to be trespassing when they come on your property. I’m not sure how this applied to leashed dogs where the owner is not on your property but the dog is.

It’s probably the same dog “owners” who don’t care that their mutts bark nonstop 24 hours a day

That wouldn’t surprise me. They’ve probably learned to tune out their dog’s barking and misbehaving, so it obviously doesn’t affect anyone else, then.

How about some of those little paper umbrellas that go into tropical cocktails?

Update: the Lab owners did get evicted. Justice!

Labs are the Kings & Queens of shitting. I used to hate picking up after mine.

That’s why I’ll never own a dog again (well, one of the reasons)
