Hey, BlackKnight, ya cheap fuck!

I believe this may be my first pitting, but there’s nothing I can’t stant more than a cheap fuck .

Do the world a favor, and cook and serve your own motherfucking food, bitch.

Thank yew.

Allow me to expound - I presume you were born and raised in this country – is tipping something you really need to remember???

It should be pretty much ingrained in you by now, I’d imagine.

I have good friends who are servers, and I had a short waitressing sting while I was in school, so I take this shit all personal-like.

Kapish?

*stint

Damn.

Oh, and Amarone

The one person I’ve never tipped, although I’ve often seen advice to do so, is the maid at an hotel. That is a job that really doesn’t seem to merit a tip - and it is so easy not to when you never see them. Is a maid’s pay expected to include tips? I’ve asked a few people and not found anyone else who leaves tips for the maid.**

Tip your maid, you cheap asshole!
Sheesh!

Please excuse my spelling and my tags - I get all discombobulated when I get pissed!

Please remember that there are many countries where tipping is not any sort of tradition. Not knowing where BlackKnight is from, I’m loath to immediately condemn him.

However, if he’s from the good old USA and still doesn’t tip, then screw him anally with a barb wire wrapped baseball bat dipped in battery acid, ground glass and high sulfur 40 weight crude.

You guys ever seen Reservoir Dogs?

I’m sorry Lola, because you have the first six posts in this thread the judges have been forced to disqualify it. Please try again next year!

Perhaps you should have petitioned your boss to pay you a living wage.

(do I always tip? Yes. Do I generally dislike the whole system? Most definitely.)

Yeah, I kinda agree with you there, Zenster. His location being

kinda gave me the impression that he was from (or living in) the US, however, I do believe every visitor to the US is given a customs booklet indicating the tipping practices here, so I usually equate “ignorance” to nothing short of “cheapness.”

: shrug :

Yeah, and… Isn’t Buscemi, the one who refuses to tip, the only one to live at the end? Hmmmm… maybe tipping ain’t such a good idea, after all!

Well, for starters, it’s not my boss, and since it is already customary to tip in the US, maybe you should start the petition. Be prepared, however, to pay a hell of a lot more for your meal/drink.

I don’t disagree with you necessarily, but until service industry folk are given a living wage, I shall continue to tip them.

:frowning:

Oh brother, another tipping rant.

It’s not like he said he never tips, just when he remembers.

And BTW, BlackKnight, I believe is a student at UM-Duluth.

Start looking for ketchup bottles on the Iron Range, and you may find him.

It’s not your boss? Who pays you? If you own your own business, then why don’t YOU start the trend?

I’m not the one complaining about people not tipping. Sure, it bothers me that the waitresses and waiters won’t then make minimum wage, but I place at least as much of the blame on the restaurant and the system as I do on the customer.

And, as to your last point, that’s why I still tip. I’ve been known to leave three bucks on a dollar cup of coffee when I sit there for a couple hours, if the waitress keeps the cup full.

Wow, it’s a one woman pile on! I’d add more, but it doesn’t look like Lola needs the help.

Anamorphic:

None of them survive. Buscemi is gunned down by the cops as soon as he runs out of the warehouse: you can hear the gunfire from outside.

Anamorphic, no.

He was gunned down outside the warehouse. Mr Pink was just the last one to die.

Check-out is always slow when you don’t tip.

D’oh! That’s right! Been too long since I’ve seen it. I guess I’ll keep on tipping, then.

Well, I’m not in the service industry.

We can blame Oscar the Grouch, but it doesn’t change the fact that the system’s not about to change any time soon.

Good. The servers shouldn’t be the ones to suffer simply because you disagree with the system.
