I await post #22 with bated breath.
OHAl LUCl
I’m looking forward to post #14 again. It was groovy the first time around.
They told you that stuff would give you flashbacks.
Yeah, I remember. Woah!
Am I missing something here? Isn’t Cisco a lefty?
(Sadly the comic in question is blocked where I’m at today…what was it about?)
ETA: The ‘you aren’t fooling anyone’ comment reminds me of the scene in Holy Grail where the guy is trying to put his still living father on the death cart…

Setting: A large conference with the banner “Climate Summit”
On stage: A man presenting in front of a screen that lists things like energy independence, sustainability, livable cities, and healthy children.
In or behind the audience: A man stands gesturing at the stage and says, “What if it’s a big hoax and we create a better world for nothing?”
That seems pretty funny to me, and doesn’t seem directed so much at left wingers as denier types.

Yeah, it really wasn’t a tough joke to get, but apparently some people had a serious problem with it.
Well, **Jane **hasn’t been back to explain what she meant by “chumming.” So it’s possible that she did get the cartoon, but she saw posting it as an attempt to get lefties to dogpile on righties. Or something. 'Cause y’know, god forbid we mock climate change denialists on a site dedicated to fighting ignorance.
Maybe she’s composing her I-was-just-kidding (wink wink) post.
I know, right? I mean, what’s next? Mocking creationists?
I was fooled. Once. For 20 minutes.
-50 points to myself for meme abuse.
To channel Ivan A-something or another…
But what if we really DO create a better world for nothing?
I like the phrase “chumming the lefties”. I think I will use it in casual conversation soon, before I find out that it has meaning.
Sounds like something out of this thread.
I always pictured Dr. Frink as the scientist saying that.
Bahhh
As I always say…beat that meme like it owes you money…or at least a fancy night out.
With all due respect, the Climate Change deniers have not reached yet the levels of Creationists, but they are getting close, this is because they still get support from some experts (experts that are getting less respect nowadays and are fewer than before).
They are in the same column as the “HIV does not cause aids” deniers and anti-vaxers.

My preference is to beat the meme like a Russian going after a baby seal (‘Look! Baby Seal Skin Leather BOOTS!’)…
