No I think I nailed it pretty well. ‘spouting crazy new age buzzwords and making idiotic claims without any evidence’ sums it up pretty well, although it doesn’t quite convey the actual level of crazy.
I’ve already linked to evidence of auras. You just don’t want to believe, that’s all. You have convinced yourself the world works a certain way, you refuse to explore any alternate avenues, and that’s sad, man. I’d pity you, but you’re not worth it. Your self-deluded nature is hardly uncommon, after all – especially 'round these parts.
Where did you link to evidence of auras, precisely? And calling us self-deluded is truly rich.
What evidence? You said back in post #79 that ‘aura’ meant ‘synesthetic response’, where people have secondary sensory responses to certain stimuli. But then you’ve also claimed that people can ‘shield’ their auras. So how can someone shield themselves from something that happens in your own brain? You’re fulla crap. And you think I’m deluded? Go back to your psychologist and have him explain the concept of ‘projection’ to you. I’m not going to bother linking to it because I know you won’t read it.
You really don’t have a clue about what science is, do you?
For the Record, I have “done science” outside of a cold, sterile science laboratory (nice stereotype, btw) In order for it to be called “science”, I needed to ask a defined question, and collect data in a rigorous manner and control for variables, otherwise it would be called “looking at stuff and making things up” and not “science”
This link, for starters (the synesthesia/aura comparison). There are others, but I’ll let you find them yourself, Mr. Green Leafy Vegetable.
(BTW, what does “Captain Carrot” mean, anyway? Are you a Bugs Bunny fan? Or did you choose that nick just because it sounded nifty?)
You got it totally bass-ackwards. Your aura always exists, whether you imagine it or not. Many people already know how to manipulate their aura, they just don’t think of it in those terms. The person with the aura always takes precedence over the person who is trying to read or penetrate their aura – assuming they know what they’re doing. Not everyone can read auras via synesthesia, after all – it’s like wiggling your ears, you’re either pre-wired for it, or not.
But you still keep avoiding my question: What is my true nature? I’m baffled that you’re failing here on basic reading comprehension, since I already gave away the answer in post #433. Unless…you’re afraid to face the truth?
Gavia immer?
No, Clarice. That is incidental.
Bored now.
No, as usual, you’re the one who has it wrong. From your own cite:
The aura is present only the synesthete’s mind. If you wanna claim otherwise you’re going to have to do better than cite something that contradicts you.
Unless you turn out to be an old friend fucking with me for old time sakes, I really couldn’t care less. As far as I’m concerned you’re just another loon on the internet. Given your posting history you’re just as likely to say ‘I’m an alien’ as ‘I’m fucking with you.’, and I wouldn’t care about either one.
So will this thread make it to 13 pages, just like the meenie7 one?
You’re thinking backwards again. Yes, my vision of your aura (not that I’m bothering to read yours right now) is different from your vision of your aura, if you bothered to imagine it…which, clearly, you are not. Doesn’t matter, though, and clearly I am wasting my breath on the likes of you. If everyone continues to think in haphazardly-defined terms like that, no wonder science is lost when it comes to the so-called paranormal. Science requires an open mind to make any truly new discoveries.
Oh, so you don’t even know what I mean by “true nature” – no wonder you’re confused. I’m not talking about superficial bullshit like what my name is or where I was born.
Curious that you said “old friend”, though…do your friends often fuck with your mind, just for old times sake?
It depends – I haven’t even invoked Nathaniel yet.
Divine your true nature… come on, think, Turnip, think! Your true nature… divine your true nature… divine…
Oh my dear, sweet Jesus… this is you!
Okay, that made me laugh.
But seriously – when I say “true nature”, does anybody even know what I’m talking about? I’m starting to believe everyone has the wrong interpretation of what I mean by that.
Has anyone noticed that KGS hasn’t replied to any of my posts directed at him/her? It’s obvious that s/he is scared of me, and is only not replying to me because s/he knows I make him/her look like an idiot.
Interesting. Of course, that article isn’t saying that auras exist at all, it’s saying that people who say they can see auras may be interpreting other things about faces as colors.
I think that, on the whole, very few people have understood what you’ve said, because you’re spouting fucking nonsense.
You’re the only one here haphazardly defining terms. The article you cited, it’s your cite specifically contradicts what you’re saying. If you are a synesthete, then you are not seeing something inherent to the other person, just a secondary perception your own brain imposes. You aren’t making any new discoveries, delusions and idiocy are hardly original.
Still don’t care.
Sure, why not.
Dude, there are hundreds of posts here I haven’t responded to. Don’t take it personally. What were your questions again? If they make sense, I’ll promise to answer.
It’s not a delusion, it’s imagination. Don’t make the common mistake of assuming “Imagination=Fake”, because that’s bullshit. Imagination can be extremely powerful, just look at Harry Potter or Frodo Baggins. (Or Jesus Christ, for that matter.) Imagination can change the world we live in, including the world only YOU live in.
Oh wait, I get it now. You’re just mocking me. Dammit, I hate when people do that.
Just for that, I’m sending Nathaniel in your direction. Do not worry, this is not Black Magick, he will harm no one and the energy won’t reflect anywhere. Nathaniel might ignore my request, too – spirits are flightly like that. But if you witness a flat tire tomorrow, you’ll know exactly who did it.
