Hey Dubya - New Orleans Has Oil, So Do Something!

Yes, in the end I certainly do STILL want to pin it all on him.

FEMA - Bush all over the mess, from picking his lackey to lead it, to pretending not to know, or even worse, really not knowing what the hell was going on.

NATIONAL GUARD - Bush all over the mess again. His call. This is exactly the kind of crisis the National Guard was designed and trained to handle, but where were they? And it was Bush who came up with this grand plan for Homeland Security.

In any crisis, people look to their leader to lead.

On August 30th, watching CNN, and watching people in terror, and listening to reporters saying no one was helping - well, I hardly call this a rush to judgement and any normal leader of a country with half a brain would have seen the same disaster unfolding and done something! Immediately.

Sugar coat it all you want, spread the blame as far and thin as you want, Bush still comes out as inept at best, and stupid and uncaring at worst.

No. You were criticized for being narrow-minded and rushing wild-eyed to blame the whole enchilada on Bush. As has been pointed out, you can’t blame it all on Bush. The problem lies squarely in the state of Louisiana.

Bush has his own issues with FEMA’s performance (or lack thereof). That also is a zit that has been growing for years, but since it popped on his watch, he’ll take the heat for it. And he has stated that he will do so.
