Hey everybody! It's 04-04-04!

I just wanted to be the first to point it out!

Dates with nice figures are cool.

So it is. Damn. I usually spot things like that.

Ah, so THAT’S why I couldn’t find myself today.

(Sorry, had to be done.)

My God! Something like this won’t occur again for over…
a year?

Yep, and my little brother turns 23 today.

And it’s Opening Day! GO ORIOLES!!!

Yeah, up until 2012 events like this will happen every year.

Only post four?

So who’s going to post in this thread exactly an hour from now?

I thought I was the only person who thought that.

Don’t dates of this sort usually have some ominous portent for the gibbering lunatics out there on the fringe? Should I load my shotgun?

Well, in most countries outside the U.S., in sixteen days it will be

20 04 2004.

I told my friend this the other day and he said he would play Foursquare at 4:44 am this morning and yell “FORE!” before every move.

It is now 04/04/04, 04:04PM, EST.

Since I never write leading zeroes for the month and day, a while back I dropped the leading zero for two-digit years as well. So for me, today is:

4/4/4

Of course, as a Computer Scientist, I am in no way advocating the widespread use of single digits for year, especially in computer programs. We hardly need a “decade bug.” That would just lead to bad stuff like increased employment and other things we certainly don’t need.

I just can’t wait until 11/11/11 at 11:11:11 (AM, not that stupid 23)!

Fussy, some people! For some of us old fogies, I’m sure a date with even an average figure would be cool.

Bookmark this site and go back there on that date. You’ll be able to see the date/time hit all 1’s.

My hubby’s birthday is today!

Feh. I was more impressed by 02/02/02.
