Quasi, I don’t know how I missed this thread until today (actually I do, I was out of town for the holiday) but I wanted you to know I’m glad that your COBRA has apparently been extended and encourage you to hang in there (and hug your wife). And come back to the WoW thread, we need updates on Wolkie!
I had to deal with the VA for a compensation claim for a relative. I learned that there are Veteran’s Advocates to assist this process. Working with the one I dealt with, it seemed he was an employee of the VA but that he worked for the veterans, as any true advocate should.
It’s been a while but I’ll try to locate the infoemation I had on him and see if I can learn more about VA advocates for you.
