Hey Everyone!

FH, yeah that was for drooping lids, and yes, it did help. My field of vision is much better and one can actually see the whole eye now.

I have mixed emotions about that surgery though… After they did it, and I went for an eye exam, I got told I have macular degeneration (both wet and dry), and I thought to myself, “WTF??? If I’d known that, I wouldn’t have needed to have the eyelid surgery!”

Kismet. Gotta love it!

Q

Merry Christmas in Georgia!

And Merry Christmas In Bangkok, Siam Sam, and I wish you a successful 2013!

Thanks!

Q

I forgot to say merry Christmas, one and all, and especially you, Quasi. I asked a boy named Billy Craig to my senior prom. He turned me down. I won’t hold it against you.

That is, without question, one the greatest t-shirts I have ever seen.

Glad to see you posting, Bill. Board isn’t the same without you around… glad to see you’re keeping tabs on the place.

Feliz navidad y prospero año nuevo, mi amigo.

Alice,

There’s another Bill Craig here in Carrollton. He was 2 years behind me in high school in Villa Rica, but our lives parallel like you wouldn’t believe:

1.Went to the same school

  1. Went to the same college

  2. Worked in broadcasting

  3. Played drums in rock bands

  4. Today we vote at the same precinct and…

  5. Pick up each other’s clothes at the dry cleaners

Thanks for not holding that other guy’s mistake against me!

Q

Hey Quasi! What’s happening tonight? I’m staying up to wait for Santa. Hold on while I throw another log on the fire.

Muchas gracias, mi amigo! And thanks for the kind words, I’m just trying to take it much easier here these days.

Q

Hey, you rascal! That one liked to have got by me (about the log on the fire).

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Q

Thanks for the card Quasi. I sent you a PM, but it pretty much said “Thanks for the card”, and that I’d try to catch you on the board tonight. Which I did. This is like the first thing I’ve gotten done on time this year!

Merry Christmas, old friend.

I’m checking out now, but good night and happy holiday, Quasi!

First, this is the back of the shirt Lancia likes so much:

lieu, sailboat and TriP. I appreciate you all checking in, saying hello and the good wishes. Friendships are precious things and I’m glad we can share ours.

Q

Merry Christmas Quasi and Dondra and everyone else on here this evening. Here’s hoping 2013 is a wonderful year for everyone.

Thanks, not what you’d expect!

At least we won’t have to worry about that damn Mayan calendar next year!

I was wondering how they accounted for the time differences everywhere anyway.

Happy holidays, nwye!

Q

Hey there Quasi! I know **Rhiannon8404 **already passed along our best wishes, but I wanted to say hi myself. Glad to see you’re still playing WoW…how’s Wolkie doing these days? I had to drop my subscription…I just don’t have enough time to play to justify the money every month. But I expect to see you one day when I get back there!

Hey Suburban Plankton!

Thanks for saying hello. Da Wolk’ is level 87 at present and Mister Rik is coaching me in farming and the Pandarian Cuisine. When I’m not playing him, I’ve rolled a Rogue I call Waldteufel (“Forest Devil”) and I’m having a lot of fun with him. Just waiting to see how he’s gonna pick pockets!

Anyway, looking forward to seeing you ingame sometime. Pandaria sure has some beautiful scenery!

All the best to you and the family, my friend!

Q

Shhhhhh! [whisper] Okay, looks like things have gotten quiet and all the Doper kiddies are snuggled up in their beddies waiting on Santa, so I’m gonna sneak outta here for now, and check back in, in a couple of hours.[/whisper].

Quasi

It is a ray of joy to see you posting, Quasi!

Here in Sydney it is about the peak of summer, but we had rain and cold  Oh, and thunder. We usually go for a midnight swim Xmas, but too chilly tonight.

We had a lovely, quiet, argument-free day. Oh, and too much food. Our Xmas day tradition is that everyone gets to pick a favourite food - to hell with balanced meals. Dad wants fresh prawns and garlic aoli. M’husband wants pavlova. MIL wants ham and fresh cherries. M’daughter wants pate and salami (oh, and chocolate)… you get the idea - Celebrate today for tomorrow we diet. Well, actually, tomorrow we see The Hobbit, but the principal is there  .

Hope you and Dondra had a lovely day.

Quasi, do you like chocolate?
