Hey Girls, Wanna Sleep Over?

Ya know, the title of this thread would be a great pickup line. Especially the ‘Girls’ plural part.

Wonder how successful it would be…?

We always used to stay up and have horror-movie nights, sitting around in our pj’s and sleeping bags, eating M&M’s.

Doing each other’s hair! Oh boy, we did some weird stuff to our hair. And the ever-popular Ouija board, of course!

I lived on a lake, so every once in a while, we’d sneak out & go skinny dipping, too.

Once, plahying truth or dare, we dared my friend’s sister to lift her leg on the clubhouse outside and pee like a dog…

For me, it meant scaring the britches off myself (and friends) with Poltergeist. I still can’t watch the movie all the way through!

It’s making sundaes (with every conceivable topping), it’s pizza, it’s talking about boys…and yes, the hypnosis! I totally did that! It was so fun! It worked best when the person was almost asleep; sometimes you could pry some genuine secrets out of them.

I’ve whipped out my favorite PJs. Okay, who wants to french braid my hair? And who wants a makeover?

Naked tickle fights!

Ok, just kidding. That was just for the benefit of all the males who are sure that’s what we did at slumber parties.

At one slumber party, we ate Totino’s pizza, the kind where the pepperoni isn’t slices but little cubes. My best friend threw up all over her sleeping bag and the only identifiable food was little totally un-digested pepperoni cubes! Yecch. Hello, un-digested pepperoni cube.

Oh, and planning our weddings, marriages, children’s names…(when we didn’t even have boyfriends…boys were yucky…but we knew men would be okay one day…)

Hey Ruff, I’ll have a makeover… pass the pizza please!! Did I tell ya all about this date I went on last week?

And the big pillow fight. Make room girls, I wanna stay too.

Hey you guuuuuuyyysss…look what I found! My older sister’s diary! There is some stuff in here that you are just not going to believe!

Yessss!!

DON’T DO THAT!!!

I remember playing Dress Up Poker. Instead of Strip poker, you wager strange things for people to wear when they lose.
Trust me, I couldn’t stop laughing at a friend when she had a slip and a pair of ear phones on her head…

At sleepovers with my best friend Katie we used to play this game called taste test where one person would be blindfolded and the other would feed them a little bit of food and they had to guess what it was. We used to get really weird. One time she fed me a piece of dog biscuit. But I got her back with habanero peppers. I miss her.

And at bigger parties we would all climb into one sleeping bag and ride down the stairs. My little brother would always want to play but we would just make him push us.

sigh that was fun.
