Sorry if it offends but we have seen what happens when you let people from a long term war torn country filled with terrorist elements into a peaceful country.
Look what happened to Lebanon when they let in those ‘poor’ Palestinian refugees. Can you believe it used to be called Paris of the middle east (oh wait) now half the country doesn’t even get electricity.
Muslims and Christians and Jews lived in harmony in Lebanon before they made their mistake, madeness that Germany is on the same path willingly.

What do ya know! It’s like the Syrian refugees are regular people, who happen to be in a crapload of trouble.
You know, like how we took all those south Asian refugees in 40 years ago and our cities have been plagued by bands of Viet Cong warriors ever since.
Then we will take them in an give them somewhere to live, something to do, medical care, and a stake in our community. Some of them will still be angry because they’ve lived through a fucking war. We’ll do our best to help them manage the anger productively and not destructively.
We’ll take our chances, because we are a brave and free people.

So what is going to happen to all these single men?
I read stuff like this and I dont think Trump is that far off. I mean he is only suggesting stopping Muslims but Canada already puts some pretty heavy restrictions on them. So would Trump be ok if he did what Canada does?
Canada is not denying entry to young single men.
Men are at the bottom of the triage list; women, children, families, elderly, gay men first . Then single men, maybe.

Plenty of men in children, families, elderly, and gays. And depending on their definition of “single men”, I wonder if a young adult man attached to a family (say living with parents and younger siblings) would be considered truly “single” or as part of “family”.
Added: When you do any type of mass asylum project, or any type of project, period, you have to triage the priorities. You can’t accept all at once and overwhelm your resources. I’m sure first they focus on families that require more immediate needs and have more trouble, and eventually more and more truly single men will start arriving.
And even from your article, the men applying to get asylum in Canada are not angry, and actually look forward to a place that is more welcoming to them than the other options (like United States).
