Hey Guys, what songs are in these two commercials?

What are the titles of these songs?

The song from the Mitsubushi commercial with the two cars and the trucks dropping heavy items out of them at:

And the other car commercial with the two brothers who thought they had a snow day, but their father’s reliable car can take them to school, much to their disappointment.

The Mitsubishi commercial song is “Barroom Blitz” by The Sweet. It was a hit in the seventies. Great song. Don’t know about the second one.

Shouldn’t that be Ballroom Blitz ?

While we are identifying songs from commercials, can anyone tell me the name of the song used on the Starburst commercial? The one with the big traffic jam and the only calm people are the ones eating Starburst and walking in a line sliding every once in a while? Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Yes it should.

Oops. Sorry bout that. Thanks for the correction. The fact that I was a teen in the seventies explains why I can make a mistake like that.

I think it’s The Whistle Song by P J Olsson.

I, too, love the Starburst commercial song… it just makes the day so much more mellow

What about the new Pringles commercial? That old song that’s been in just about everything. Especially things with pirates or really scary/intimidating things…

It’s latin, or opera or something. You guys know what Im talking about. Whats the name of it? I want to look up the words…

It’s Carmina Burana by Orff. Robert Shaw put out an excellent version of it with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

AKA the song that really hot chick sings in Wayne’s World.

Have you tried AdTunes.com forum?

Peace.

More specifically, the piece is “O Fortuna” from Carmina Burana…I just thought that was important if one is looking for lyrics.

I happen to love the Carmina Burana suite, but my wife always refers to it as “Devil Music”
