Sorry about the thread title - I spent this weekend participating in this year’s Bayou Classic festivities in New Orleans and have consumed three years’ worth of the Ringo daily requirement of rap music in the last 48 hours.
Well, it does seem to take a month or two to mature these things - I’m proposing another meet (or two). In past years we’ve had twofers associated with Little Nemo’s vacations in Houston. How about it, pal, you comin’?
One way or another, we should start planning to meet in January or February. As you offer your thoughts, remember we’ve got some new HouDopes we haven’t as yet met, including one (at least) who is a minor, so I’d like to settle on a venue that can accomodate us all.
Hopefully things here will be sorted out by then and the LIONsob and Aye will be there. I wanna see everyone and meet the ones I haven’t been able to meet yet. Besides seeing Little Nemo is something I always enjoy.
Ummm, I don’t know how to say this guys, but this year’s NemoFest will have to be NemoLessFest. I’ve already came and went. I considered trying to start a thread about a meeting but: 1. as some may have noticed, my online access is highly intermittent at the moment, 2. as Ringo noted these things take time to set up and it was only a week before I went that I was sure I would be going, and 3. I was only in Texas for a week this time.
I guess this means all of you will have to come up to New York instead.
