I’ll give that all the thought it deserves, Cranky!
Hee hee! Yeah, I’ll tuck some dough in your card, Cranky.
[sub]biscuit dough or somethin’[/sub]
Email is on its way.
Ooh! Sounds like fun! Haven’t done anything like this for ages.
Now I’ll have to go buy some glitter and glue…
Can’t promise they’ll be masterpieces, but I think I want to make mine by hand.
Now off to the store to buy stamps!
Oh boy, what am I getting myself into?!
I made mine last year with doilies and glitter and stickers and stuff, but I don’t know if I’m that motivated this time. They will all have authentic FairyChatMom signatures, tho. Signed by me. None of this having my personal assistant do it for me.
[sub]Yeah, right, personal assistant…[/sub]
Whee! I sent mine off. I think this is cool. Thanks, twickster! Now I have something constructive and fun to do before my class at night!
Whoo hoo!
I get to play with LilMiss’s crafty type of stuff
Fun!! I’d love to receive some Doper Luv. I’m in.
You’ll send me one, won’t you? (puppy dog eyes)
The only thing good (IMHO) about this valentines day is DAREDEVIL will be coming out.
That movie better not suck or I’ll just have no reason (once again) to like V-DAY
-x out
ooh, fun! I’m in.
I’m up for it. Just sent the email.
lno, I still have my card and number!
See, I’m a good girl.
Do I get a spanking now?
I’m in.
Missed the secret santa thing by three days.
And if any of you guys are weirdo internet stalkers, I’m ugly, armed, and live with six large violent and possessive men.
Kricket, you’re the best. Now track down everyone else who got a valentine from me last year and reassemble the poem. You have ten days. Then you’ll get your spankings.
Ahem – am I interrupting anything? kricket? lno?
I’ve gotten about 20 addresses so far, so assume I’ll be splitting people up into groups – what’s a good group size? 8 or 10? smaller? bigger?
(Omigod, are you people serious about handmade Valentines? What have I gotten myself into?
Thanks for taking this, twickster. I organized it last year, and had a great time doing it.
Yes, people do send out handmade valentines. I still have mine from last year.

I don’t make homemade cards. I don’t make homemade anything (except food). I am what is known as a consumer–I buy things from craftsmen/artists etc., which allows them to buy supplies to make more beautiful stuff, which I then buy. I admire the artiste, but make no attempt to be one (which the world appreciates).
So don’t be disappointed when you don’t get a homemade card from me, just realize that I’m helping some poor struggling artist (who is most likely chained in the cellar of a multinational conglomorate forced to make the dippy cards that I will undoubtably buy). By buying these mass produced goodies, I will demonstrate to this poor artist that the world at large has no taste, and therefore he or she might as well quit slaving for the man and strike out on her/his own to show the world what Valentines should really look like! (You see, every true artist must get disgusted with the world, so they renounce it and start producing the great art within them). Really, it’s true.
So, expect dippy cards from me–the type a harried Dad buys for their kid, causing the kid to go into spasms of uncontrolled horror and embarrassment. I am so looking forward to buying them!
Last year we were divided into groups of 20, I think - 20 stamps in a book, and so on. Someone else who did this last year back me up on this.
We did, mostly because we had such a response that two smaller lists were more manageable (and affordable) than one big list.

I’m in! I’m in!
Just sent my e-mail to Twickster.
I’m gonna get Valentines! I’m gonna get Valentines!
Woo-hoo!
