As someone who lived in Missouri for ~20 years I must say that when it comes to electing blinkered ideologues who can barely tie their own shoes, Missouri gives Kansas a pretty good run for their money.
Since Hawley’s attack on Arizona and Pennsylvania voters failed, don’t those states now get the opportunity to try to vote out Missouri’s senators? I’m pretty sure that the Founders established turn-based voting like this given the travel difficulties in getting all the combatants together in that era and this allowed participation by mail since we had a working postal service back then.
