You are referring to these exceptions because they are evil and it is okay to besmirch evil? Not a good analogy. Breaking a few dates really doesn’t amount to crimes against humanity. I’d suggest you go back to quilting.
IIRC, and I might not, it was cardiac arrest. Yes, I know in the end, everyone dies of cardiac arrest. But I think in her case, she’d been partying a lot and not getting much sleep, and one night her heart stopped and couldn’t be started again.
(I could be wrong; I’ll humbly retract this if I am.)
No, you missed the point. Truth is truth, whether the person is living or dead. No one is required to lie about what the dead may have done in their lives.
Any word on Generalissimo Francisco Franco?
Nothing yet.
Wait, this just in… Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.
I sometimes wonder how many people actually lived in the time of that gag. Or understand why it was so funny.
That’s a good question. And, really, it’s not like people here didn’t know her…even those who never met her knew her plenty well from all of the information she chose to put out in public. You can’t expect to have as active an online presence as she did and not have people form opinions based on that.
Obviously, nobody can conclusively call someone an addict besides that person, but…Jack exhibited ALL of the behaviors of an addict.
If you want more, just let me know and I’ll bring more cites. I can go all day.
Huh. “Looks like,” “put it together,” = wrong. None of the above are true.
Besides, what would it matter?
How is that relevant? Everyone has issues, including you.
CarnalK, it was neither. Don’t speculate about which you know nothing.
Aging model = true
with multiple arrests = true
who looks like Iggy Pop = ok, a matter of opinion but certainly not out of left field
What am I missing here? You know that we all have google, right?
Where the heck are you guys getting this from?? It wasn’t that. And I understand how CairoCarol feels with being curious, but as her friend I do not feel it’s my place to divulge her personal medical information.
Where on that page does it say he is/was an addict?
Please cite some arrests for drugs. I would be interested.
However, I don’t see how it’s relevant to Opal or how or why she died…
Hmm, aren’t we all “aging?” How is that adjective relevant other than to be negative?
Arrests? Yes. For being a “drug addict?” I can’t find that.
Even so, what does it matter that he’s “aging,” or a formerly arrested?
You said those facts weren’t true, and I was pointing out that they were. If you don’t like the conclusion reached, argue that, not that things we all know to be true aren’t. It weakens your defense considerably.
Cite for drug addict?
Reason that any of the above is relevant?
What is your conclusion and how do you logically get there?
My “defense?” I don’t need to defend anything. I seem to be the only one around who knows the person in question, knows the truth about her, and the truth needs no defense.
I didn’t say he was. Others said signs pointed to it, that’s all. If you have a reason to believe that it’s a poorly-drawn or incorrect conclusion, say that the facts in evidence don’t add up to that, not that the facts in evidence aren’t facts.
Relevant to what?
My personal opinion is that Jack is somewhat of a shady character.
No, it doesn’t, and yet, you are…
Google his name with the word “arrest” and you get, among other cites, that he was “wanted for possession of a controlled substance.” I’m not going to provide a link just in case the mods are feeling jack-booty. But it’s out there and you can find it as easily as I can.
Well, here’s a live warrant, less than three months before they met.: ARREST WARRANTS: Wanted in Oak Forest | Oak Forest, IL Patch
If you want to know how it’s relevant to Opal, I can provide multiple admissions of drug abuse on her part. I mean, she overshared every every everything, and nothing on the Internet is ever truly gone.
