I’ve read the linked thread from 1999, but here’s a huge gulf between previous animosity on this board (and/or other boards with some connection with this one), and claims of having been repeatedly backstabbed IRL. So that doesn’t strike me as an answer, unless it’s clear that that’s what Monty meant.
Doesn’t matter to me either way - I’m ready to let this drop regardless. But if someone’s shared how Opal backstabbed Monty IRL, or what actions by Opal that Monty interpreted that way, or whatever, please point me to it.

A) She’s dead–pretty much by definition, she can’t be bothered by this.
B) She wouldn’t have been bothered by this when she was alive. She loved this sort of drama/attention.

I remember when Ranger Jeff remained behind in the abandoned village of AOL SDMB, along with some others. Long after the keyword stopped working and there was no official way to get there, the saved link (starting with aol:// ) would still go there. It was as if AOL had forgotten it was condemned propery and forgot to send the bulldozers. In fact, a person could still go back and read posts going back to 1996 for well into this century. I used to go back over there and lurk, reading the sprinkling of new posts by the folks who elected not to follow the official board into (what was then) ubb-land.
Wait, wait – I got it!!! It took some time and some deductive reasoning but Opal was an innocent bystander simply waiting with a knife to cut the pie Always Brings Pie brought. While Monty was distracted by an interesting conversation, his back was stabbed by Runs With Scissors who quickly ran out of sight. The multiple wounds were the give-away. Now where did that pesky Col. Mustard get to?
Close. It seems you have trouble putting 2 and 2 together and getting 4. That comment wasn’t directed to RNATB. If you had looked upstream a little before running your mouth you would have seen that.

It wasn’t me he was telling, it was FXMastermind. I don’t understand what Morgenstern was getting at, though, unless it was that FXMpersonally didn’t know whose post it was (because he hasn’t been around long enough?)
I just found it ironic that a person commented on another person doing dastardly deeds with sharp items, thereafter a third party asks for the reason behind the comment.
Then here comes yet another post (I believe from someone unaware of the link it provided) that cleared up the underlying agenda, adding an off-medication rant by a person of interest in the thread.
The proper thing to do would be to apologize for making the statement in the first place without backing it up. Just dropping it and then leaving it without any other justification or apology is not honorable.
Morgenstern and Montycrantz live in their own private world of disembodied ladyparts for them to suckle on where women are not to be believed about rape by Bill Cosby, the rapiest man ever in the greater Los Angeles basin.
