hey saved by the bell fans

I was recently taking a saved by the bell trivia quiz and a question came up about the gangs college years. The question stated that there was an episode where the gang had a rave in their dorm room. Granted, I didn’t get to see all of the college year episodes, but I saw a lot of them and that’s one I don’t remember. Can somebody refresh my memory about it or tell me the general jist of it? Thanks.

TVtome has this page for it but I don’t remember it either. Of course, I was twelve at the time and I’ve seen maybe four episodes since it was cancelled so that’s not too surprising.

Ewwww, you watched the college years? The only episodes I like are when they’re in high school, but before Kelly and Jessie mysteriously disappear and are replaced by Tori.

How I miss SBTB.

I watched all of them, even the New Class. And a couple of their knockoffs too, like California Dreams.

As I said, I was 12.

hmmm I don’t seem to remember a rave. The only one I remember involving a party in the college years was the one where zack needed to raise money and he offered a trip to hawaii, but he had something up his sleeve- there was no trip! That was far from a rave though and unlike most college parties, there was almost no drinking.

saluki_fan ,you have good timing. I saw this thread last night and couldn’t help you out. However, I turned on the tv about an hour ago and this episode was airing so I took a bullet for you and watched it. Some names may be wrong, but here goes.

Zack and Slater want to host a rave at an abandoned warehouse to raise money to take their girlfriends to Mexico. After selling the tickets, they find out Wal-Mart has started building a new store where the warehouse was located. Our heroes are now in trouble. Where can they hold the rave? In an amazing plot twist, their dorm advisor decides to go visit his mother, so now they can have the rave in the dorm! They then get busted by the dean and just as she is about to punish Zack, a professor dressed in a bathrobe shows up and tells the dean he’s holding a class about teenage cultural rituals or something. She, of course, is perfectly okay with that and Zack escapes punishment.

In the “drugs are bad” sub-plot, some popular kid types convince Screech to steal nitrous oxide from the chem lab for use at the rave. He does, but regrets it and Slater helps him get the nitrous oxide back. However, they are too late- the popular kids have already inhaled some. In another amazing plot twist, Screech has screwed up and stolen helium instead! Popular kids now talk in high squeaky voices. Much laughter ensues. The End.

dude, I never saw that episode and I sure as hell hope you aren’t joking. I mean don’t tarnish the good names of Zack, Slater and Screech unless all that stuff really happened.

Hup, what’s going on? We take Saved by the Bell or SBTB very seriously in Carbondale. You really can’t be so blasphemous about such a great show. I am deeply disappointed in your poor attempt at a joke.

Ha, that’s a fake episode? Sure fooled me. Heh.

well I sure as hell think it’s a fake episode, but I guess I’m wrong. Damn I’m confused :smack:

No, it’s not fake. I was hoping to not have to admit that not only was I a huge Saved by the Bell fan that watched this show like 4 times a day in reruns on TBS and WGN after school every day, but that I actually saw all of the College Years (not when it was on NBC, but also in reruns on TBS) including this particular episode. Hup the Fool did a good job of recapping the episode. For those that did watch The College Years, the professor in the bathrobe was Professor Lasky, the professor that Kelly had the brief affair with.

And just as a brief aside, we have all the Saved by the Bell episodes, including the College Years, on DVD, so anybody who wants to see this episode is welcome to come over as long as they bring the snacks. And maybe some nitrous helium.

WELL- my memory is being jogged. Is this the episode where screech is in class and one classmate asks him if there will be Nitrous Oxide there?

He says, “Will there be any N.O.?” and screech responds with, “Will there be any N.O.? No!”

I’ll be over in an hour and I’m bringing some pizza rolls.

oh dude, I didn’t know that they had the college years on dvd. That’s one more item on the old Christmas list. Anyway, you should play the sbtb drinking game.
