I love this line of reasoning, though. “If kids think it, it must be right.” Kids are dumb! Who the fuck cares what little kids think? When I was a little kid I hated brushing my teeth. You say children naturally know right from wrong. On what basis do you make that claim.
You can’t just say “this is the way things are” without providing evidence to back up your claims. So far, for the most part it appears that you haven’t done that. You may think you have, but if so it’s been difficult to sort out.
Please, in one post, just say why you believe those particular ideas.

Major hijack: Kids have a surprisingly good idea of what is nutritios provided you let them exercise it. If you let kids eat what they want when they want, they’re usually good about not splurging. Conversely, if sweets and fattening foods are rare treats, then they will try to stock up when oppertunity presents itself. I’ve seen many examples of people of many ages eating healthily if they were free to eat what they wanted.
And yguy is a moron. This is actually kind of funny, IMHO. Let’s keep him around. With any luck, the next time someone tries out a pseudo-rational explanation of why homosexuality is icky and evil, he’ll show up and demonstrate with Swiftian wit the fallacy of their reasoning. Indeed, a couple of names come to mind, including those of Bruce Rind, who co-authored this study, and Martin Seligman, president in 1999 of the American Pschological Association, who, according to the study which evidently referenced a book of his, had, shall we say, a “thing” with a newspaperman, which today we would call child sexual abuse, and claims it was a positive experience. I have not been able to find any quote from Seligman objecting to being quoted in the study, which is blatant pro-pedophilia propaganda, in my view.
Not to mention the Steven Pinkers and Peter Singers of the world, whom, though they have seriously proposed that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with infanticide, the academicians at MIT and Princeton have somehow seen fit to grant status as tenured professors.
I’m sure others can come up with examples of academic insanity just as patent. The question then, is why anyone who is granted the imprimatur of the academic community is especially credible.
As for children’s opinions about homosexuality, I never said anything about that. I said what they know not what they opine. A seed doesn’t sprout until in encounters moisture; neither does the child’s knowing crystallize into an opinion that can be verbalized until he is confronted with the reality of the act.
You don’t understand. I was not indoctrinated with any “homophobia”. Although my mother thought it was “unnatural”, she never made much of an issue of it. I never even thought much about it until my teens.

They know when injustice is being done to them. After they’re corrupted, they can be made to believe that injustices done to them are somehow their fault. I should know. It happened to me. My mother intimidated me into thinking her unhappiness was my fault.
