In some ways Bricker’s argumentation has gotten tighter. That may explain some of the one-note flavor. I think Bricker is an addition to the board.
ETA: On Fox News in general and Bill O’Reilly in particular, there is the implicit premise that one opinion is as good as any other. The idea of subjecting one’s ideas to scrutiny is alien to this POV. Fox News has apparently had a pernicious effect on the modern conservative’s cognitive abilities: I think the Jul-Aug class of 2012 demonstrates this.
It’s the cookies I think. Also possibly the free pony rides. But mostly the cookies. One cannot mix thin mints and oreos without attracting all kinds of people.
