Thanks for that link, Rick! My father has a fully built 351 Super Cobra Jet sitting on a stand in his garage, but doesn’t feel like spending the money on restoring the '67 Cougar it was destined for. Maybe I can talk him into one of these!

Isn’t the car designed around a ford escort engine? Almost all the finished cars I could find on the forums site had four cylinder engines. I did find a couple with a Mazda rotary.

Although there were a couple that were built with V8’s, is seems that most of the Locost’rs are against using a big engine in the car.

OTOH, the 305 I have in my T/A might be a bit weak for that big of a car, but it would be a monster for a Locost…
