Yes, I know you can get a class 3 license I looked into it once or twice. It is very expensive and time consuming and you have to get it signed by a law enforcement official. Like that is all I need is to talk to more cops.
I want them to be just like every other gun. You fill out one or two forms. They check to make sure you are not a felon and then you buy it. Hey, I appreciate Class III, and I’m glad it’s expensive. It means that full-auto owners had to think about their purchase, and after going through so much crap (and expense) to get it, they’re going to take damn good care not to lose their shiny new weapon.

I continue to agree. If I need a fully automatic weapon, say to defend the airspace over my house that I rightfully own, I shouldn’t get hassled by the man. I just happen to know from previous threads your stance on homosexuality, so I offered as a (humorous) next agenda item.
I don’t think I can argue with you about guns, because you’re blinded by your interpretation of the Constitution. And I’m blinded by an overwhelming disgust of violence, and the extent in which guns are involved. And you’ve not seemed to have learned anything from your “towel-head” thread. And I’m not even going to pretend to talk religion with you.
All I’m saying is that our country being attacked does not give you carte blanche to declare all your agenda items as the only solution in light of everything. Our country may have changed, but our morals (despite your wishes) have not.

Having said that, I dont believe full automatic weapons should be generally available to the public. The system that is in place now, where one has to undergo a background investigation and pay a 200 dollar tax in order to get an automatic weapon, is prudent, in my opinion.
