Though I thought at first (til I clicked on the link) you were talking about this story about our local Congress Critter (a particularly scummy version, I might add, who had been one of Bush’s most stalwart cheerleaders until oh, what, January of this year?. It was most amusing to me that during the Foley scandal, the most used clip of Foley walking along outside included Rogers grinning and walking nearby. But I digress).

Whenever someone bumps into me (for whatever reason) really hard and through obvious carelessness and they don’t acknowledge it, I say to them, using whatever predominant color I’m wearing (usually black), “What, [color] is the new invisible?”
If I can’t pick just one color, I say, “What, Negro is the new invisible?”
I use “Negro” purposely to get their attention and I don’t care if race had nothing to do with why they bumped into me.
