Highest pixel density LCD/OLED module currently in production?

Hey,

I’m trying to figure out what the highest pixel density in production LCD/OLED modules that is currently (or recently) available. Note that I’m not looking for PC monitors, but rather the actual display module of any physical size, including tiny display modules for consumer electronics and giant LCD TVs (which obviously don’t apply).

The highest I was able to find was whatever LCD is used inside this 22" IBM LCD Monitor which seems to be around 216PPI. It is no longer in production.

I can’t figure out how to find this information. This information isn’t published so I have to calculate it by hand which means I need viewable area WxH and resolution (or diagonal, aspect ratio and resolution). This is proving to be a giant hassle and after sorting through a few dozen datasheets that all turned out to be around 100 PPI I’m a little discouraged.

Are there any LCD/OLED modules over 600PPI? 400PPI? 300PPI?

Thanks,

Groman

P.S. Yes. I am obsessed with this subject, but it’s very important to me in a religious way

LCD projectors of the type used in conference rooms can have resolution of 1024x768, but the panel itself is quite small (one or two inches?), so I think the pixel density is quite high. (Except I think there are three LCDs in each projector, so each is monochrome.)

I think all of those are DLP. I’ve never seen an LCD projector like you describe.

Edit: I take that back. Here’s an Epson description. and here it shows a 0.9" LCD panel.

Thanks.

Ok so the current winner is

Epson L3C07U Series HTPS LCD Panel 0.7" diagonal 1920x1080 monochrome

at about 3150PPI

Do we have anything denser?
