Oh man, yes I remember that. Must have been the 2003 season I think. They did almost everything possible to an old Toyota pick-up truck, including tying it to the sea floor in a full tide, putting it on the roof of a flat that underwent a demolishing implosion, setting fire to it… and the fucker still ran. They actually gave up after a while and put it in a corner of the studio, in honour of Toyota’s reliability. 
Nice. My first car was a 72 Corolla. A lot of my mates had them too. Unkillable. Dig them out of 8 foot of snow, don’t service them for years, use them to transport PA systems - they started first time, every time.
I bought a new one when I could afford it.
