It’s nice to know that the staffer thinks that Trump is so horrible at his job that this is the only possible way he could have won.
I’m not sure how that is a message that helps Trump, though.

Paul Ryan was Speaker of the House in 2017 and 2018. Nancy Pelosi didn’t become Speaker until 2019. That’s why I mentioned the timing.

[li]If Trump is impeached and removed from office in 2017 (when he first took office), or in 2018, or 2019, or 2020, Pence becomes President.[/li][li]If Trump and Pence are both impeached and removed in 2017 or 2018, Paul Ryan becomes President.[/li][li]In 2019, if Trump and Pence are both removed from office, before Pence can get a VP approved, then Pelosi becomes President.[/li][/ul]So it isn’t a very good plan. It assumes that impeachment doesn’t happen in 2017 or 2018, that the Dems take over the House in 2018 so impeachment can happen in 2019. The Dems did take over the House, but not the Senate, so the impeachment part isn’t going to result in Trump being removed from office. Or Pence, for that matter. Also, since the Dems don’t control the Senate, they aren’t going to be able to block whoever Pence nominates as VP.
The whole theory is preposterous, but these are a few of the more obvious reasons.
The problem isn’t that Hillary threw the election. Pretty much the opposite - she was way too confident that she would win easily.

Pence doesn’t need to get a VP approved. He just names an acting VP. Confirmation hearings are for suckers!

Hillary lost in 2016 on purpose so Trump could be impeached, claims White House source
Please note, this is NOT from the Onion.
Not from The Onion, but from the satirical Borowitz Report from 2017.
Neither of those links work for me.
But that’s the problem with modern satire. No matter what outrages a normal mind can dream up, they are so quickly eclipsed by reality that all are believable.
Even if this odd claim originated with someone attempting satire, the fact that Trump fans have taken it up shows that it fits in with their beloved article of faith: namely, that Everyone Is Out To Get Trump™.
In their cult, Trump is simultaneously All-Powerful God-Emperor and The Eternal Target and Victim Of Terrible People Who Hate Us.
But it’s their friends who will cut off their Medicare and Social Security.
How would one lose an election while still getting most of the votes? That seems a level of control that is hard to imagine.
It’s deepity state stuff.
That’s right. But so long as those “friends” keep assuring them they are superior to those Others (dark-skinned or Libruls or Mooslums or what-have-you), they will suck up the loss in their standard of living, and go on singing hymns of praise to their idol.
