If Democrats had to appeal to the fragile sensitive egos of white voters in that way, they would’ve done so long ago.
It’s kind of like the convention version of “every campaign is the white dude’s campaign!”

You seem overly focused upon the race of the speakers.
I did notice that practically all of the delegations during the roll call mentioned Native Americans. I was wondering if that was a conscious effort.
Weird. It’s almost as if the Democrats see women and minorities as being just as good as real people.
I think we need a cognitive dissonance smiley.
American politics needs to expand to include more WASPS
Finally, we come to the real crux of the political biscuit! Which is, of course, Cognitive Dissonance, the number one threat to the Republic! When your neighborhood Mother’s March Against CD volunteer knocks on…hey, quit that! Stop shoving!..your door and…stop that, uncool, man, uncool!..
Democrats fear cyber “October surprise” that could sink Clinton.
With all these hacks and leaks and whatnot, there have to be more than a few poop stains besmirching Democratic underpants these days. It’s all bullshit, these leaks are largely exposing the sausage making of party politics, but who knows what other sausages are out there? I’ll admit, this makes me nervous too. My underpants are still clean, however…for now.
Hillary is trying to prove that with photos from when her and Bill were dating. That Hillary was a little hottie.
Don’t know that it deserves its own thread and it seems as though it’ll benefit Clinton the most…
Fourth Circuit Court ordered a halt to North Carolina’s voter ID law and other changes based on discriminatory intent.
Don’t Democrats fear an October Surprise every 4 years?

Looks like it’s almost time to have another spike in that graph!
Besides which, Assange is reportedly claiming that his next data dump will be the one that contains enough evidence to indict Hillary Clinton, so he’s not waiting.
Whatever it is, if it exists, it probably paints her in a poor light, but there’s no way anybody’s going to indict anybody in a court of law on the back of purportedly leaked, hacked e-mails.
Okay, two things:
Indictment isn’t important. Beating her is important, gives Assange a very high profile scalp if he costs her the Presidency.
If Democrats fear, or worse, know, that there are secret emails that can sink her candidacy, why did they support her?
I mentioned the indictment part because that’s what Assange was apparently claiming. It just struck me as the verbal equivalent of clickbait or a movie trailer.
And your second question is quite worth considering, yes. Unlike Trump, some really high profile names are supporting her. To think that they did NO due diligence is ludicrous; in that sense, her family name’s rep for scandals probably helped her.
That presumes the leaked emails are not edited. I have heard there is evidence the previous leaked emails were edited by russian language computers. The fear is that she will be held responsible for fraudulent emails. The support of many people would increase, not decrease, if it were shown to be that kind of scam.
And The Houston Chronicle endorses Hillary Clinton.
Only the second Democrat they’ve endorsed since 1964.
Mark Cuban endorses Hillary, calls Trump “jagoff”.
The perfect kind of surrogate to drive Trump nuts. Much, much richer than Trump, and unlike Bloomberg, a lot younger too.
What happened to the speculation that Trump was going to pick Cuban as his running mate?
Cuban is far more articulate, too.
(I’m guessing in part because she flipped “Trump” and “Clinton” on who Cuban was endorsing and then decided against the whole thing)
Cuban’s confirmation:
