Some people seem to be pretty worked up about the Arizona Republic’s endorsement.
Did the Dallas Morning News also get a response like this?

It’s the internet age, so I would not be surprised.
Well to further examine the nit before eating it like any good baboon grooming its fellow pack member would … it is nevertheless still accurate to say that it is the first time they have ever endorsed a Democratic candidate for president since they came into being, in 1890, which also means “their first since 1890” or “ever” or “since 1892” are all true statements.
You all know of course that nits are louse eggs, yes? So most of the time nit-picking is a pretty lousy thing to to. Sometimes good to resist the itch!
Today is the first day of voting for the general election. Iowa begins early voting today, and Hillary Clinton is campaigning there. At the end of her speech, she did something that Donald Trump’s campaign would never do: she directed the entire audience to the early voting booth (the Auditors office, where everyone can vote, regardless of precinct) 2 blocks away.
Trump, meanwhile, is tag-teaming with Newt Gingrich, all 600lbs of them pounding away at some poor “overweight” Miss Universe.
I voted via absentee ballot today (NJ). So I am covered in the event of alien abduction within the next 40 days. It’s going to be a long wait to see if my vote matters!
In fairness, more people would want to see her in a swimsuit.
Dude, that is some really unfortunate word choice there .
Plus, people who would get angry that an ad isn’t talkin’ 'merican are probably not planning on voting for Clinton either way.
Remember when Newt was one of the VP finalists? Someone noticed that it was going to be the Henry VIII ticket… with a total count of 6 wives for them.
And now even on the fat side they have an uncanny similarity, each seems to be close to the 300 pounds of the late monarch.
Things get interesting. Arizona Republic gets death threats for endorsing Clinton. USA Today urges readers to oppose Trump, a candidate it said is dangerous and unfit for the presidency.
Just got mine in the mail yesterday for Florida. The presidential vote is a no-brainer, but I’m going to research the downticket candidates over the weekend. Got to do this thing right.
Goodbye my “biggest ever thread”! It’s been fun!
It has indeed.
On Cleveland-area radio I’ve lately often been hearing a pro-Hillary ad by Michelle Obama (praising her for fighting for all the right causes, and for being a friend and ally to the President), and another by a Republican former soldier (saying Trump is insulting to women and unfit to be CINC). I’ve also heard, less often, an ad arguing Hillary has done nothing for black America and saying that, since Ben Carson has endorsed Trump, he must be OK.
No… the word you’re looking for is “purposeful.”
Does Michelle ever say Trump’s name? I’ve noticed the tendency from both Obama’s to never actually say the word “Trump”. Is it the new “radical Islamic terrorism” or “law and order”?
No, she praises Hillary but doesn’t mention Trump by name. Why give him even a tiny bit of publicity?
As previously announced, there’s now a thread for the stretch run. Let’s take it over there, people. May the voting saints be with you.
