Sure, sure, sure. You try wandering around Glasgow telling everyone you meet that they’re thoroughbred Brits, and see how long you last.
My point being it doesn’t matter their opinion on the issue they can’t deny it any more than they can they’re European ( And don’t start on that argument).
They’re European for geographical reasons. They’re British for legal ones. There’s a huge gulf between the two.
British politically yes but also geographically due to the fact of a fair bit of water betwen us and the mainland. Besides the OP only used the term Brits which could equally be determined to mean Britons (if you can argue against the Scottish being included in this group I’d suspect we’re using different definitions).
At this point I’d like to apologise to the OP for the blatant hijack of his Thread.
