Hey, E-man…the way the tzero finances are going I may be getting a job cleaning up at the big house and finish the degree another year! Maybe we can find a doper who lives in Rockville and Olentzero can stay there during the week. If so, Olentzero, do I need to keep the Anniz screen saver on the computer?

<sigh> My apologies to both Olentzero and to Anniz for my post. I was trying to tease Olentzero about his affection for Swedish women and just ended up being offensive…I hope for O that he gets this job and can be doing what he loves. I think I’ll place personal sanctions on myself and not post, just read and giggle.

And I ain’t dreamin’ neither. 
I just found out that my Swedish great-grandfather’s violin is about to pass into my possession. It came over with him in the 1890s and is in need of some repair, but I’m gonna have it restored and I’m gonna play it and every time I do I’m gonna remember my favorite granddad.
It’s been an interesting couple of weeks, and in a nice way too.

The job just ain’t worth it. My salary reqs were on the “high end”, the Metro reimbursement would be about 30% of my monthly commuting costs, and I’d lose medical coverage for Valkyrie unless I wanted to pay for it out of my paycheck.
Oh well, ya win some, ya lose some. At least I’m still on their list for freelance translation work. Now to get on some others…
