You must be a hard-core conservative.
Quick clarification --Angelina Jolie is my “just because” person. I can go on for paragraphs articulating why I can’t stand Don Cheadle. I mean, at best his performances induce extreme indifference in me … the rest of the time I’m looking at how desperately non-typecast black he’s trying to act and it works my damn nerves. How many insecure porno actor/ Chinese restaurant owner/ fake drug dealer/ fake Cockney Brit roles am I supposed to subject myself to watching this fool in??? Thank God he’s basically just a character actor. I only have to put up with him moments at a time onscreen in mostly ensemble cast movies.
Maybe because she’s a big ole freakin Ice Princess who emotes about as well as your average two-by-four?
That’s why I don’t like her.
I really can’t disagree with anyone mentioned except for Judy Dench and Sean Penn. I like her and I don’t mind him.
But please let me add Renee Zellwegger. Or as I like to call her- Squinty McScrunchface.
Funny, I like most of the actors you guys mention.
Although I vote for Will Farrell, Jimmy Fallon, and the Wayans Brothers…
It makes me warm in a number of places to find out that other people share my hated of Will Ferrell. I thought I was the only one.
Travolta, and all the other Scientologists.
Ben Affleck.
Mel Gibson.
Adam Sandler. It seems like he becomes less funny by each movie. I watched about 10 minutes of Little Nicky and was far more annoyed than bored, but just the same, I gave up on him.
I also actively avoid anything with Tom Hanks and hope that he keep gaining weight so that he becomes unbankable, and that will make him go away.
I also can’t stand Stephen “the dumb” Baldwin. Which reminds me of Pauly Shore. Who reminds me of Carrot Top, and I can’t understand why any of the three continue to get work.
Gwyneth Paltrow {'cos she looks like an unplucked chicken}
Vin Diesel {'cos dumb is not the new clever}
Val Kilmer {'cos…The Saint}
Premature posting…don’t worry, we can try again later.
Chris Tucker {‘cos his Stepin Fetchit rollin’-eyed jive-talkin’ darkie bugs the hell out of me}
Hugh Grant - “fuck” and floppy hair can only take you so far
Jim Carrey - never laughed at a thing he’s done; apart from the pretentious recent film with Kate Winslet
Director John Frankenheimer loathed Kilmer so much that he said that, even if he were directing “The Val Kilmer Story,” he wouldn’t consider casting Kilmer.
Kate Hudson. She has had it far too easy and there must be some cosmic retribution for Raising Helen.
I would like to second the following :
John Travolta (overrated and overpayed)
Gwyneth Paltrow (the sad-puppy look just gets stale)
Tom Hanks (SEVERELY over-rated actor : just because you can add weight, doesn’t make you a good actor)
Jennifer Lopez (not only should she fail in work and relations, I think her ass should get 3 times bigger : trademark that!!!)
By the way : I think Will Farell is funny.
No, actually I am fairly liberal on most social issues, but conservative on defense. I simply can’t stand their self-righteous pontification.
Ben Stiller. I just don’t like his humour at all. Am I alone in this respect?
Another vote for Renee McScrunchface.
Heather Graham
Mel Gibson
Richard Gere
Renee Zellwegger
Jennifer Lopez
Bill Murray- he’s been far more annoying than funny ever since his SNL days.
Eddie Murphy- ditto.
Chevy Case- ditto.
Chris Kattan- megaditto (you should pardon the phrase).
Will Ferrel- same same.
May all of them pull a Piscopo.
Woody Allen. I’ve hated his whole smary attitude from the start and that whole Soon Yi affair put my opinion of him lower, which I didn’t even believe was possible.
Gee, I’m the only one in here who hates Bruce Willis?
That’s okay, I hate him enough for all of us.
Julia Roberts - give the girl an Oscar for her push-up bra, whydontcha
Tom Cruise - Eeeeeeugh
