I guess I’m looking for rumor control here. Is it true that in the Batman movie, George Clooney demanded a bigger codpiece for his costume? I’ve heard this from several people now, but they aren’t necessarily what I consider good sources. This rumor should be true, just because of the jokes I could make about this, my not-most-favorite actor, his ego, and his balls. Well, what’s the straight dope? Is this the truth, or just a malicious rumor spread around because people don’t like this guy?
Apparantly he’s a practical joker on set, so he might have asked as a joke.
I heard that it was an ego and/or insecurity type thing, but the joke thing makes sense. I also heard that he actually got the bigger codpiece, but have no idea if this is true or not (I want to say I don’t believe, but I’ve heard even stranger stuff about actors and Hollywood that was true so . . .).
I should add that I’d keep asking for a bigger codpiece just to see what I could get away with were I in his position :).
