I assume whenever they show a home video of the tragedy with the word “Exclusive” it means that the network paid for the exclusive rights to the video. Would you feel comfortable making a buck off this that way? I am not condemning those who did, because for all I know they took that money and donated it to the Red Cross. Of course I also would be wary of someone else being able ot make a buck off of it. What are the rights of theose who took the video (apart from making it available to investigators)? I remember a few years ago there was something about the Zapruder film rights finally being settled. I dunno, my rational detached sitting at my desk thinking is that I would give the video to all the news outlets.
