A Boston fixture, the James Hook lobster company, burned down last night. It had been there for over 80 years, still operated by the same family, with its huge sign saying “James Hook” and "Lobsters. We used to joke that this is the business Captain Hook went into after his run-in with Peter Pan:

i saw the fire this morning (cnn) and couldn’t believe it. 2 people were down from the boston office and were suprized when i told them about it.
a piece of history gone.

The building was said to be worth $5 million! It was a total loss-I can’t imagine the place woth a fraction of this. Anyway, too bad ffor the lobsters :smack:
ocean front property. i did wonder about the lobsters. poor little bugs of the sea.
