Today I emptied my savings and sent off my last big check to the ^&%& credit card company. No more $80 a month in finance charges! One less monthly bill to fret about!

I had a pretty substantial credit card debt from a time when I was first unemployed and then severely underemployed for about a year and a half. For the last three years I’ve been making a pretty good wage, and I’ve been paying off my debts as fast as I could; my student loans got handled a while back, and I’ve been making serious headway on the credit cards, and today I’m done.

Hooray! I’m broke!

I swear, that is one of the best feelings in the world to get a bill paid off. You are one lucky dawg.
