It’s for “real”. Although it’s just charter flights operated by another company. Sure would be great if they flew to Frankfurt, though! I never sleep on a transatlantic flight anyway!

Personally, I love their chicken wings.
Hooters provides a valuable economic function; it provides employment to many young women who don’t have the opportunity or the willingness to just go ahead and get jobs at a stripclub.
Their wings are okay, too.
IMO, it would be better if these places didn’t exist. Using women’s bodies to flog food to people is completely and utterly tasteless and disrespectful. And reinforcing the idea that it is somehow acceptable to do that in front of children is even worse.
I can’t say I have a lot of respect for a man that chooses to eat in a place like that, but to be honest, I don’t really blame men for their existence. Rather my criticism is with the women who choose to work and eat there…they legitimize it.
I guess we could eliminate all the other chain restaurants in which the waitresses wear short skirts and tight tops. Hooters may do this a bit more pronounced than most, but it’s definitely not the only offender.
Does anybody remember the VERY revealing blouses and short French-maid-style dresses worn by the waitresses at the old Steak and Ale chain? Made the Hooters girls look downright frumpy, but you never heard a peep about 'em.
If some entrepeneurial sort would open up a hot-wings place set up to be the polar opposite–call it Burkhas or somesuch–I’d love to eat there.
That sounds much sexier than the orange and white outfits.
You know, there’s still a Steak & Ale in southern NJ. Next time I’m up, maybe I’ll swing on by.
yeah, they were VERY sexy. I Googled them to bring up a pic, but found nothing. Except that Steak and Ale is still in biz worldwide, but now their waitresses wear a VERY dull vest shirt and tie combo – makes it look as if you were being served by a middle management trainee at some large corp.
It’s a shame, the only thing I’ve seen to match the old Steak and Ale costume were the blouses some women wear at cons and renfairs.
Most of my friends, male and female, have worked at the local Steak and Ale at one point or another over the years. But I’ve never seen the sexy uniforms that were mentioned here. Ever since I was old enough to notice, they’ve always worn the white shirt/tie/dark vest/dark pants combination for men and women.
My wife likes going to Hooters. I think the Hooters girls are less threatening to her. If I’m going to check out a waitress’s boobs, at least it’s a waitress that’s meant to be ogled.
I’m not a huge fan of the plce, but I certainly don’t mind going. It’s good for a greasy-food fix, and I certainly have no problem with their business model.
Most of you people that are complining seem to be forgetting the idea of the whole place. The reasons you don’t like it are the precise reason’s you’re supposed to like it! Scanitly-clad waitresses who flirt with the men, lean over the table and rub their boobs on your arm or across your chicken wings; tacky decor; mediocre servce; greasy food. All these are the place’s selling points!
If liking skanky girls who bring me indigestion-causing food is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
