An update. The doc drew blood and had it whirled through the machinery. He says her hormones are fine and all the other bloody bits are within normal ranges.

So I am thinking it is the body image thing. Some women react really badly to knowing they can never ever have a kid of their own. They may have never wanted a kid before, but there is something about all of a sudden realizing they will never have one trips a switch.
Only hormonal oddity of my hysterectomy is that I cry easier now. WTF is on with that! I didn’t get the depression, or loss of child thing, I get sniffling at movies which I never did before.
SO I think that since the bloodwork came out normal, maybe just a touch of some supportive therapy with a support group may help. Or maybe sign her up for kickboxing lessons and let her bash dummies and get the rage out =)
