Hot Then - Hot Now (Longest time between pictures of people being attractive) Celeb edition

Blythe Danner, then and now-ish.

Couldn’t find dates for those pictures, though. There is this page, which has her at 35, 54, and 66.

My vote goes to Emmy Lou Harris

To quell the plastic surgery question:
Did Emmy Lou Harris have plastic surgery?

That isn’t the picture you’re looking for.

This is.

Oh yeah, now THAT’s an authoritative cite. Not. :dubious:

Holy crap! I was puzzled as anyone when Jon Stewart tried to make the case that Jennifer Lawrence resembled a young Helen Mirren. But that was the first thing that occurred to me after looking at that picture.

I don’t know if she’s hot, but in terms of aging well/having a kick-ass plastic surgeon, I submit Martha Stewart then and now.

No shiz, you think?

Yeah but now it seems age is catching up, check the trailer for her new movie with Melissa McCarthy.

Here’s a 50 year gap: The Girl from Ipanema. Everyone she passes probably still goes, “Ahh”.

In the episode from which the middle image is taken, “The Inner Light”, more than 20 years has passed (well, virtually, the whole thing was an extremely elaborate induced hallucination). By that scene, Picard (in the fantasy) has experienced closer to forty years in subjective time, and in a virtual environment that was desert-like.

For a fair comparison, get Stewart to move to Saudi Arabia and wait until 2032.

Lauren Bacall then

and now

Keanu Reeves. Hot in 1530. Hot today

Emmylou Harris. Throughout a career spanning nearly fifty years, she’s been one of the most beautiful woman in the world.

Plenty of pics on her website.

She never quite rang my bell but if you liked Faye Dunaway then, she might still do it for you now. She’s certainly managed to age gracefully.

Yul Brynner pretty much always looked the same as well. Of course, we could contribute that to his movie career ‘only’ spanning about 25 years and him not having any hair for us to watch go grey. OTOH, he looked like he spent the day jogging and doing calisthenics too.

While neither is really my type, I gotta hand it to these two from my high school days:

John Stamos now, and John Stamos back in 1981.

Also, Rob Lowe in 1983, and Rob Lowe now.

Pretty sure they’ll both still look damn good in another 20 years.
