Last summer I had a dream where the local weatherman predicted 90’s and a week later, it came true, sadly.
Just had one last night where he predicted 85. But its the northeast.
And is 0 right now.
What, i am asking, would or could cause that to happen up here, and what would happen if it did? I’m feeling a hurricane or something like that what with the temperature difference.
Nothing.
Or if you insist: It would have to be something totally unprecedented, like a planetary change in orbit or axis, or a sudden burst of magma near your location, or alien intervention.
Temperature swings of 80+ degrees aren’t unprecedented in the western Great Plains, due to chinooks. Such a weather raised the temperature by 103[sup]o[/sup] F in Loma, Montana one day in 1972. However, the Northeast is generally devoid of chinooks.
Right, but there’s nothing comparable in the Northeast. It would take something totally unprecedented to raise the temperature from 0F to 85F. Perhaps a giant alien child with a huge magnifying glass.
