Dammit. Someday, I hope that people will put me on lists like this. To be fair, there are many people that are more attractive than me, and even more people that are more musically talented than me. But I can still hope, right? Right?
Dammit again. Curse the lot of you good looking music wizards. Bah…
Two people have cited Bond, and I have to call bullshit. While three of them are quite fetching, their playing is a little weak. Tarted up, technofied and overproduced. They would serve the culture better as lingerie models.
Cool - if you ever successful in persuading the lovely Natalie to run away with you, do let me know. Then I can be sure that I’m first in the queue to snag that insanely hot husband of hers.
My own suggestion: Nick Cave. Also, the young Elvis who I think was one of the most beautiful people ever.
Just an aside (& I have to laugh). My 21-year-old daughter saw Wierd Al Yankovic in concert recently. She told me (privately, her husband & mine were both outside) that, “for an old guy, he’s so cute!”
Does this fit the OP? There are plenty of us who feel he’s a brilliant musician, and when I was younger, I thought he (when he was younger) was hot. What say you, dopers?
You missed the perfect opportunity to post this. Maybe it’s my D’nD geekiness showing, but no musician has ever been hotter, ever.
I’d second Tori Amos and Regina Spektor, too, and add Natalie Merchant.
OK, Kate trumps Tori, I agree (and who wouldn’t watch THAT? )
And since I couldn’t find a still of Kate in her gold lame’ body suit, here’s a youtube of the video. Alas, it’s kinda blurry- too bad I can’t find the SNL one she did while a very lucky Paul Shaeffer played piano.
I always thought Melissa Auf der Maur made Hole a lot more bearable. I haven’t heard her solo album yet, but was surprised to see her on Conan one night backing up Todd Rundgren.
Memphis Minnie (Lot of pics online, but I couldn’t find my favorite, which was featured in the Martin Scorsese blues miniseries. She was in her mid-40s, wearing a thigh-high skirt, and HOT).
