House slippers: Need recommendations

I am a huge fan of rubber pool slippers for house shoes, and have had the current pair for about 3 years. While they are not soft on the inside, they meet the rest of your criteria- along with being extremely easy to clean (the one problem I had with soft slippers in the past- after a while they’d get funky, and wouldn’t hold up well in the washer.)

Something similar to this: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Yp4AAOSw44BYPWzl/s-l300.jpg

ETA: During the winter, wearing thick/fluffy socks with them does the trick.

Mrs. Cardigan has had a pair of Old Navy moccasins she’s worn for the past 5 years or so and loves them. Says they’re warm. They appear to have a few years left and I believe cost under $10
Here they are:

I’ve found you have to pay for good slippers. Ivylad and I have bought from LL Bean and have been quite satisfied.

I liked my Lamo slippers , I wore them to death and had them for about 4 years . They are made of sheep skin have a hard rubber sole . Mine come up to my ankles and kept my feet toasty warm . I wanted to buy some more this winter but there was done left . They cost about $60 I think, I got mine on sales .

I’ll make it that three recommendations for Minnetonka Moccasins. Mine are 12 years old and still look great!

Another vote for Minnetonkas. Good structure, but still really soft and comfy,

I picked up some slippers at an estate sale - I had been using cheap, slip-on terrycloth.

These are not life-changing, but one feature I really like is the zip-up design.

I suggest you consider the option of a zipper closure.
