How about another secret thread?

I find this kind of sweet, actually. I think it’s nice that they’ve met, and they have a lot in common.

Heck, I think I did it three times:
A paper on preservation of Machu Picchu for an anthropology course and then for a History of Latin America course
A paper on the effects of Pals Battalions for a History of Great Britain course and for a general western civ course
A paper on the Baptism of Poland for a European history course and a world religions course.

All were undergrad courses and before the era of online plagiarism databases. I tweaked them all the second time to better fit that class but they were at least 80% recycled and I can’t say I felt bad about it since it legitimately was my work and research.

Here is a secret:

I’ve found fairly convincing evidence that a local media personality in my town is into furry porn. I won’t tell anyone, and it doesn’t bother me - whatever floats your boat. I personally know this person, and they’re very nice, so live and let live.
Just thought it was a bit surprising that I actually found this out.

My brother’s son (my nephew) recently did 23&me, as did a number of his mother’s relatives (his cousins). My nephew was evaluating everyone’s results and he came to the conclusion that his mom has a different father than her (half) brothers. Nobody (other than his grandma) knows about this, and grandpa is dead.

My brother is trying to convince his son that his mom and grandmother do not need to hear about this. I’m just watching, chuckling, from the sidelines.
