The question is, what can the Democrats investigate that will take less than 2 years to uncover? If they’re going to investigate anything, what they need is a slam-dunk; an investigation that drags out to January 19, 2009, will give Bush a chance to pardon whoever’s in the hot seat. What would he care? He won’t be stumping for his political allies at that point.
