How are patent laws enforced internationally

If a company in Denmark creates a drug/car part/computer chip/etc how exactly do they maintain a patent on it internationally? What is to stop Pakistani scientists from stealing the design and making it themselves? It isn’t like the Denmark gov. will go to war with pakistan, they’ll just offer a rebuke and do nothing. International law is essentially just a farce right now.

Does the WTO have some sort of authority on this subject, or does it just rebuke countries for doing this?

In many cases, one has to take out patents in multiple countries. Someone more knowledgeable than I can address whether certain countries or groups of countries cross recognize patents (eg, US patent also recognized by the EU)
