I’m in two organizations that used to host peer-to-peer meetings in real life, meeting in church basements. Meeting sizes varied 5 to 20. One is an LGBTQ+ support organization, and one is a suicide bereavement support organization. I bet AA meetings (of which I’ve attended many) and various other kinds of groups face the same question. We went online for over a year, but now we’re looking at meeting in real life again. So…
How do we handle vaccines and masks? Do we ask everybody to mask up, or do we only ask people to mask up if they’re not vaccinated? If it’s the latter, how do we know they’re not lying? Or do we tell everybody to do what they wish, and somehow convince ourselves not to worry about whether our facilitated meetings may cause new cases?
How are other groups working this out?
Thank you!
