This New Year’s Eve, we’re getting an extra second of revelry before the ball finishes dropping. How will you spend your free second of 2016?
Me, I plan to get down on my knees (assuming I can get back up) and thank the Powers That Be that the extra second will be added to the Obama Administration. The next four years will be long enough, thank you.

Wishing this year couldn’t go on one second longer.

Surely most Dopers will be busy during this second and a few seconds after resetting their clocks and watches to take the time change into account–unless they are already synchronized with a time server? [Not me–my clocks aren’t set accurately anyway and I don’t use watches.]
I am not going to spend my leap second, I am going to save it. It might come in handy later on.
