How are you rooting in the NBA Finals?

Love Durant, so for OKC.

Plus, as a Piston fan, I can’t ever root for another EC team. Ever. (Even when Detroit is awful).

Against OKC. I have nothing against the city, except its complicity in treason.

The Thunder need to fail. Humiliatingly. And suffer in the process.

Miami can die too, as long as they obliterate OKC.

Makes sense.

I’m from Cleveland. Are the NBA finals still going on?

Seriously, who am I rooting for? Kent State in the College World Series. Second choice, Stony Brook.

I’m rooting against Miami. Not out of hatred. I think the whole decision thing was a douchey thing to do, but I don’t hate LeBron. I just think it would be really funny if LeBron and the Heat made the finals again and lost again. Really, really funny.

I know it is evil, but I’m the same. It’s a bit of schadenfreude to watch Lebron and those guys lose again.

If they win, fine. If not, it is hilarious.

The James legacy will be the most skilled player in the history of the NBA to never reach his potential. King James? I dont think so, try King Sisyphus

He’s gonna be the Jim Kelly of the NBA!

I’m rooting against Miami because LeBron was such a self-absorbed asshole about leaving Cleveland. (Note: I have no love for Cleveland per se, but feel for them as a fan of Milwaukee, another small-market franchise.)

I love OKC – it’s the closest thing to a “home team”, my wife and I drove six hours to take our toddler to a game, etc. – BUT I’m rooting for Miami this time around, because I really would like to see LeBron get at least one championship (OKC will have plenty of chances).

It just doesn’t seem right that the dominant player of his era should fail to get a title. I’m not a huge LeBron fan or anything, much less a Heat devotee, but it just seems like he should get his championship now.

It’s much more fun to have an NBA where LeBron James still hasn’t won.

Cheering for OKC. I am warming up to LeBron, but I think I can’t fully warm up to him until he loses AND does so with grace and dignity, instead of losing and spewing out comments such as those from last year.

OKC, THE 4th Quarter Team ™, couldn’t get a shot to fall in last night’s 4th. Not a free throw, not a lay up, not a three. They had the chance to take it. Some people locally are complaining about the refs, but that’s a typical homer view. OKC couldn’t shoot in the 4th when they needed it. Miami was just good enough to keep OKC down by a consistent two shot margin.

It seriously looks like the Rockets/Knicks Finals of the 90s.
