How can I download Zoom to my Kindle?S

I am having trouble downloading Zoom to my Kindle. Can anyone give me step by step instructions?

I assume you mean a Fire tablet, formerly known as Kindle Fire? It’s an Android device, but with a locked down system. So if it’s not in their Store, you need to “sideload” the app via apk, or access the Google Store in another way. In Amazon’s app store I see a “Zoom” app and a “Zoom Workplace” app. The “Zoom” app apparently only works with the Fire TV voice remote or game controllers. The “Zoom Workplace” app works on the most recent Fire tablets but not on older models.

(And yeah, I wouldn’t expect Zoom to work on an actual Kindle, with an e-ink display and no camera or microphone.)

Specifically what model of Kindle do you have?

I have a 9th gen Fire 10" tablet. I added the Google Play Store to it a year or two ago, and then installed Zoom from there.

It’s been 10 years since Amazon dropped the designation “Kindle” from their Fire tablets. I assume that people will continue to call Fire tablets “Kindles” 10 years from now. 20 years from now. Etc.
