Of course Iran is going to do whatever it thinks it can get away with. Every country acts in what it thinks is its best interest. But just because something “irks” the US, hardly means there is going to be war. Countries do stuff that “irks” the US every day of the year.
First, as the articles state, the missiles are only nuclear-capable. They don’t carry nuclear warheads because Iran does not have nuclear weapons! Pardon the heavy-handed emphasis, but it seems to be necessary when people are afraid for no reason! Granted, there are political forces in the U.S. that want you to be afraid of this non-existent threat, but they’re more interested in promoting war and conflict, not stopping it.
Second, in your rush to fear, you’re forgetting that the U.S. and its allies have a few nukes of their own. Like, thousands of them. If Iran had nuclear missiles and if it launched them at the U.S. or even Israel, it would be obliterated by a hailstorm of nukes from the West. Whatever you think of Iran’s leadership, you can bet that national suicide, including their own, isn’t on their agenda. But that’s neither here nor there anyway. Neither Iran nor the U.S., nor you, has to worry about it because, once again, Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons!
Regarding your question, it’s already been answered. The Iran nuclear deal was accomplished peacefully without a single bullet fired. It might take a few years to confirm its success, but if you want to stop war and conflict, it’s a pretty good start.
Yea normally people go to war over land or resources. But if you factor in religious reason logic goes out window. They don’t care to fight to last man or if 99% of population is killed.
Say you have two countries both like the US and both are very powerful. A war would be political suicide. But if you factor in religious reason they don’t care to go war even if 99% are killed or even all the people.

The CIA was saying Iran is developing nuclear weapons that is why the US and UN council put sanctions on Iran. Iran say it is not developing nuclear weapons but developing nuclear power for use in nuclear power station.
These sanctions where hurting the economy well the US called for tougher sanctions .

How many Iranians do you know? Last I met one they were seemed pretty normal. An irrational fear that foreigners are weird and dangerous and inhuman is common but not factual.
You come from a religious country where political leaders have made anti-Moslem statements. Would Americans be prepared to sacrifice their whole country to pursue anti-Islamic goals? I think you might be surprised by how similarly Iranians feel to you.

Nuclear deterrence has so far been pretty effective at stopping outright war (but not conflict). There has never been a direct war between two nuclear powers (proxy wars and covert wars yes).
Say what you want about Iran, but if they had ICBM’s that could hit New York (or even Tel Aviv) then there would be zero chance the US would go to war with them.
Well…I suppose you would stop war and conflict when you figure out a way for people to stop wanting to take things that other people have or control other people.
That’s really what all conflict comes down to. Either you have something I want and I feel like taking it or I want the world to be a certain way and I’ll do whatever is in my power to make it so. The strange thing is why the US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan but not Iran and North Korea.
It was proven Iraq and Afghanistan had no weapon of mass destruction!! Yet Iran and North Korea does have weapon of mass destruction or in the process of making weapon of mass destruction.
Also Iraq and Afghanistan had no interest to go to war with the US none.

Doing modern times it was economics of capitalism vs communism. The USSR vs US.
And communism was bad for the US and businesses. Well capitalism was bad for the USSR and communism countries.
Now that the cold war is over and communism is almost gone now or mixed systems now like China.
The new thing is war over religion. We have not fixed this problem.
In the future ww3 probably be over water. You have wars over clean drinking water.
At stopping war yes. No country leader wants to wipe out their own people and economy back to stone age or worse (Extinction).
But when religion plays a part it is very different.
