To provide counterpoint, I didn’t really use the magazines. Since just about every weapon is available (or has an equivalent) in every zone following video game designer logic for hiding weapons worked to get me through.
There’s a couple of missions have you down there and you can steal a car.

The Zombies are really easy to kill in those tunnels as they drop tons of weapons, often combat knives which are one of the best weapons in the game. When they are directed at you via a tunnel you can easily take them down in order, it takes a while, but you don’t get flanked.

Oh thanks for reminding me of that. I found that photo system especially creepy. Not “Oh god zombies will get me” creepy; “I hope whoever was responsible for this is on medication” creepy. Way to make a “mature” game, Capcom.
Using the showerhead on zombies is…disturbing.
