Serious question. I’m sitting here listening to some songs that are usually pretty slow, but they seem so damn fast now. Why’s that?
Hmm, it’s quite the opposite for me. Everything I hear, see and say seems to go all slo-mo when I’m tanked.
No idea
I’ve experienced the “time flies” effect when drunk – that might be part of what you mean about the music being faster, MeanOldLady. My hearing, though, is also impaired then, so loud music that would normally be way too loud doesn’t affect me. I find most of the senses are affected – as a non-smoker, sitting in a room with smokers, I wouldn’t smell a thing.
It’s an auditory illusion caused by the room spinning in one direction while your head is spinning in another.
Been there.
